Sample requests are small transactions that go wrong in expensive ways. A buyer asks a supplier for three fabric swatches in an email thread, the supplier sends four in a different weight, and six weeks later nobody can reconstruct what was actually asked for. Multiply that across a season of sourcing and you have a real cost buried in rework.

A printed sample request slip fixes the narrow part of this problem. Step 3: Edit It Against Real Sourcing
